Ron's comments on "The City of Lost Children,"
given during an interview with MTV at Cannes.

"It's strictly some sort of nightmarish extension of the imagination, culminated by this sort of gothic love story, which is not sexual because it's between a ten year old girl and a grown man, but equally powerful. Although it deals with frightening concepts, there's a distancing that takes place that allows you to feel like you're in safe hands. This is a world, but it's not our world. But it's a world that, if we're not careful, could exist."

This last photo was released after the death of Daniel Emilfork (Centre) on November 17, 2006, at the age of 82.
Taken during a photocall for the movie in Cannes on May 17, 1995, the photo includes Ron and fellow actors Dominique Pinon (2nd Right) and Judith Vittet (Left bottom) next to producer Claudie Ossard, and director Marc Caro (Centre, bottom).
