Ron's bio from 'Sunset' playbill

RON PERLMAN - D. J. Rollins

Mr. Perlman has a Bachelor’s Degree from City University of New York and a Master Fine Arts Degree from the University of Minnesota. He worked at numerous regional theatres throughout the country before going to New York to join the Classic Stage Company. At CSC, he played ‘Lovborg’ in Hedda Gabler, ‘Lucio’ in Measure for Measure, and the title role in Woyzeck. Before joining the cast of Sunset, he created the role of ‘the Emperor’ in the New York premiere of the critically acclaimed The Architect and the Emperor of Assyria.

This play was later revamped for Broadway, and the title changed to 'Platinum.' Alexis Smith was the only cast member to remain in the new production, and director Tommy Tune was replaced by Joe Layton.
