PINT OF MILK - RON PERLMAN

Hellboy's latest nemeses? Bulgarian caterers.
How much is a pint of milk?RP: When I remember buying a pint of milk, it was 26 cents.
What is your idea of heaven on Earth?
RP: Penne frutti del mare with a great bottle of Chianti Classico.
Who do you prefer: The Beatles or the Rolling Stones?
RP: The Beatles - you can't compare them to anyone. They are in a class by themselves in terms of the incredible, amazingly layered, sophisticated music that they left behind. Whereas the Rolling Stones just did one kind of beat - rock 'n' roll. Not nearly as much nuance.
Have you ever worn women's clothing?
RP: Only professionally speaking. Never in a movie, but I did wear it onstage in an expressionistic play by Fernando Arrabal. It was full-on dress, spike heels, one black, one red. Statements were being made left and right. It was a one-off, not something I sought to recreate with any regularity.
What would be the title of your autobiography?
RP: Easy Street The Hard Way. Which I'm in the process of writing. It'll be out in 30 or 40 years at the pace I'm going.
When did you last walk out on a movie?
RP: Not so long ago actually. I've been walking out of a lot of movies lately. It's a horrible feeling because I don't go much anymore - I'm so busy - so when I finally do it's a big ordeal that requires planning and parking and walking and buying tickets and finding the seat and settling in. When I finally get there and realise, "Oh my God, this is bollocks, I can't subject myself to another minute of this," it is disappointing in a profound way.
What's the worse thing you've ever eaten?
RP: It was in Bulgaria. If I could tell you what it was, I would. Not only was it unrecognisable, it was nameless and it was lunch every single day of this movie I worked on.
Have you ever killed an animal?
RP: No.
